Sally Jo (Estep) Fairburn

Sally Jo Estep-Fairburn 83 years old of Proctorville, OH went to be with the Lord on Friday May 23, 2014 at St Mary's Hospital. Sally was born on January 20, 1931 in Raceland, KY Her parents were James and Bertha Ann Estep. She had 5 siblings, Emory (Buster) Estep, Kathleen Estep-Keaton, Ruth Estep-Lawson, Billy Jo Estep and Jim (junior) Estep. She was married to John G. Fairburn September 10, 1948 in Russell, KY. Sally was the founding pastor’s wife of Bible Apostolic Church in Huntington, WV and worked tirelessly with her husband John to establish a work for the Lord. Sally was the owner/operator of Fairburn's Markets being quite the career lady. Sally is survived by her loving husband John: son John & Mary Fairburn of Huntington, WV: daughter Deborah Greene of Mt.Nebo, WV: son David & Helen Fairburn of Chesapeake, OH and grandchildren Jeanie Bryan, Jerry Bryan, Aaron Fairburn, John Fairburn, Melinda Whitt, Jennifer Harshbarger, David M Fairburn, Jamie Greene & Jonathan Greene and 18 great-grandchildren. A celebration of Sally Jo Fairburn's life will be held Sunday, May 25th at Bible Apostolic Church 3521 16th St Rd Huntington, WV Visitation will be from 2-5pm with the funeral service to follow at 5pm. Sally will be laid to rest Tuesday, May 27th, 11:30am at Ridgelawn Memorial, Huntington, WV. This memorial is open to the all friends and family as well.
