Adelle Clutts Morrison
(November 11, 1924 - November 1, 2014)



ADELLE CLUTTS MORRISON, 89, of Huntington, WV, died Saturday, November 1, 2014, at Woodlands Retirement Community. She was born November 11, 1924, in Huntington, daughter of the late R. E. and Thelma Clutts. She was a graduate of Huntington East High School and an active member of First Presbyterian Church. She was a generous supporter of many organizations and activities in the Huntington area. She was preceded in death by her husband, E. Webster Morrison, her three sisters, Margaret Bowles, Lois Myers and Roberta Webb, her brother, James Stanard Clutts, and one great-grandson Noah Morrison. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward W. Morrison, Jr. and Karen L. Morrison, and Alan S. Morrison and Catherine C. Morrison, all of Huntington; four grandchildren, Mary Elizabeth Anderson (Kit) of Huntington, Edward W. Morrison, III (Erika) of Huntington, Jeffrey A. Morrison (April) of Lexington, KY, and Brooke Smith (Travis) of Houston, TX; and eight great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to First Presbyterian Church or Hospice of Huntington. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, November 6, 2014 at 1 PM at First Presbyterian Church. Friends may call from 4 to 7 PM, Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary, or from Noon to 1 PM on Thursday, November 6, 2014 in the Fletcher Friendship Hall at First Presbyterian Church.
