Charles Trevor Young

Charles T. Young, 92 of Huntington, died Monday, July 6, 2015 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. Funeral services will be held 12 noon Thursday, July 9, 2015 by the Rev. J. Gump at Klingel-Carpenter Mortuary. Interment will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park. Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Charles was born July 19, 1922 in Huntington, a son of the late Charles Louis and Lida Elizabeth Hall Young. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Betty J. Young. He had a long career as a manufacturer’s representative in the paint and picture framing industries until retirement in 2005. He served his country with distinction during WW II with the U.S. Army. Charles is survived by his son, Charles Trevor Young and wife, Carol Ann of Lexington, KY; and by his daughter, Cheryl Ann Thomas and husband, Daniel L. of Huntington; two grandchildren, Trevor James Young and Sarah Elizabeth Young and a great-granddaughter, Liliana; additional family members are Jenny, Phil, Marlee, Anna Leigh and Lauren Gilmore.
