MARY ELLA STEPHENSON
(May 3, 1920 - June 2, 2018)



Mary Jarrell Stephenson,  98, of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky passed away June 2, 2018.  She was born May 3, 1920 in Bald Knob, W. Virginia and was preceded in death by her parents William and Grace Jarrell, her husband of 65 years, Kenneth E. Stephenson, two brothers A. Paul Jarrell, Douglas V. Jarrell, four sisters Helen Jarrell, Garnett O. Starling, Sibyl J. Sigrist, Lura Mae Lynes, two grandsons Stephen A. Edmonds, Jr. and Kenneth L. Garnett, and son-in-law Benny Garnett.  She is survived by a sister Gloria Jean White of Jacksonburg, W. Virginia, three daughters Sandra L. Garnett of Glen Allen, Virginia, Susan J. Edmonds of Brevard, N. Carolina, Sarah B. Massey (Andrew) of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky, five grandchildren who have blessed her life, Wendy M. Edmonds (Grace) of Gainesville, Florida, Melissa D. Robinson (David) of Charlotte, N. Carolina, Jason Garnett (Pam) of Mechanicsville, Virginia, Julie B. Kirkpatrick (Brad) of Taylor Mill, Kentucky, Grant K. Gilkerson (Jenny) of Ft. Thomas, Kentucky.  She has been further blessed with 15 great-grandchildren Andrew and Mary Grace Hadlock, Elizabeth and Noah Helton, Cassie Garnett, Anna and Lily Robinson, Bailey and Logan Garnett, Lily Grace Dixon, Logan Lee Kirkpatrick, Sophia Mae, Benjamin Paul, Anna Marie, and Emma Sarah Gilkerson.  She was an active member of Presbyterian Women.  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Enslow Park Presbyterian Church where she was a loyal member for more than fifty years. Burial will follow at Spring Hill Cemetery.
