Beverly Louise Weir
(March 15, 1940 - July 21, 2013)



Beverly Louise Weir, 73 of Huntington, WV, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, July 21, 2013 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, at the Westmoreland Baptist Church by Dr. C.J. Adkins; burial will follow in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington. Beverly was born March 15, 1940 in Rochester, NY, a daughter of the late Henry Miller and Helen Case Miller Black. She was also preceded in death by her brother Donald Miller. She is survived by her husband Roger L. Weir; two sons and their wives, David (Debra) Weir of Franklin County, Virginia; Dan (Katherine) Weir of Charlotte, North Carolina; one daughter and her husband Lisa (Don) Davis of Auburn, Kentucky. In addition, four grandsons: Mitchell Weir, Benjamin Weir, Nickolas Weir and Matthew Weir; one sister Marcia Bennett of Montour Falls, New York and a host of nieces and nephews survive her as well. Beverly was a 40 year member of Westmoreland Baptist Church, a volunteer at the Huntington Museum of Art in the library, and a volunteer at the Huntington VA Medical Center. She was also very well known for her chocolate chip cookies and was an award winning quilt maker. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Reger Funeral Home. Mrs. Weir will also be at the church from 10:00 a.m. until services time on Wednesday. Contributions may be made to the Huntington Museum of Art, in memory of Beverly.
