America Donahoe Aliff
(July 11, 1916 - March 1, 2013)



America Donahoe Aliff, 96, of Huntington, W. Va., passed away Friday, March 1, 2013, at Huntington Health and Rehabilitation Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm Monday at the Reger Funeral Chapel by Rev. Carl Lilly. Burial will be in the Donahoe Cemetery, East Lynn, W. Va. She was born July 11, 1916 at East Lynn, W. Va. a daughter of the late William and Anna Adams. She was a retired seamstress. She was also retired from the former Huntington Manufacturing Company and she worked for the Wayne County Community Services. America was a member of the Haney’s Branch Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Burl Reed Donahoe, her second husband Ivan Aliff, three brothers Karo, Canso, and Moscow Adams and five sisters Nancy Kinder, Spicie Belcher, Mitti Burns, Jessie Blankenship and her twin sister Pauline Morrison. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law James William and Dorothy Donahoe of South Point, Ohio, seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews including two special nieces Anna Mae Donahoe, who took care of her and Lola Belcher. Friends may call from 3:00 to 5:00 pm Sunday at the Reger Funeral Home, Huntington.
