Jeffrey “Hippie” Lynn Runyon went to be with the Lord on March 10, 2016 while surrounded by his family and friends.  Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday March 12, 2016 at 2:00pm at Christ Temple Church by Pastor Kenny Waller. Burial will follow at Spring Valley Memory Gardens.  Jeff was born on June 6, 1961 to the late Thelma and Ezra Runyon. He was one of five children; Rita Thompson, Richard Runyon (Deceased), Gary Runyon and Doris Kidd.  Jeff was a respected member of the Harveytown community and loved by very many. Everyone who met Jeff spoke of his giving heart. Whether it was his time, money, effort, advise or just his opinion he gave with his whole heart. Jeff enjoyed working at CJ Hughes for 19 years and Mountaineer Gas Company for 17 years.  He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Tara Lea Runyon and his two children whom he loved dearly, Michelle Lynn Runyon and Brent Allen Runyon.  Visitation will be on Saturday March 12, 2016 at 12:00 pm until service time at Christ Temple Church. In lieu of flowers and in honor of Jeff’s giving spirit, the family asks you donate to a charity of your choice.  Reger Funeral Home is assisting the family.
