Obituary

Leafy Charlene Elkins
(August 15, 143 - August 36, 2016)

Leafy Charlene Elkins, 73, of Huntington, passed away August 26, 2016. Graveside services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 28, 2016 at Enon Cemetery. She was born August 15, 1943 in Ona, a daughter of the late Lawson and Frances Keenan Elkins. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Benjamin, Clovis and Gary Elkins and one sister, Linda Elkins. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and John Sang of Huntington; sisters, Lila Bledsoe, Sharon Sifrit and Shirley Wagner; brothers, Clark Elkins, Albert Elkins and Harry Elkins; and three grandchildren, Stephanie (Chris) Bias, Sara Sang and Jennifer Sang. Leafy’s family would like to thank the Homestead Unit at Heritage Center, Huntington for taking excellent care of her during her stay. There will be no visitation.
