Obituary

JEWEL ANN LESTER
(May 14, 1949 - August 9, 2016)

JEWEL ANN LESTER, 67, of Huntington, W.Va., passed away and was reunited Tuesday, August 9, 2016, with her husband Roger "Whitt" Lester following his death just three weeks ago. She was born May 14, 1949, in St. Albans, W.Va., the daughter of the late Clement Elbert and Ella Walker Settle. She has finally joined her infant daughter whom she lost so long ago, Kimmie Lynn Settle. May they always be together. She is survived by one daughter, Kellie Kennedy-Childres; one sister, Chris Gibson; one brother, Bill Settle; two beautiful and special grandchildren, Robert Jackson "R.J" Kennedy and Heather Jayden Childres; two great-grandchildren, Hayden and Chloe; and two very special lifelong friends known as the Golden Girls, Eulaine Elkins and Gloria White. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Saturday, August 13, 2016, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, W.Va., with Pastor George Leese officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may visit from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
