JAMES EDWARD "JIM" ROY
(May 14, 1957 - August 23, 2016)

JAMES "JIM" EDWARD ROY, 59, of Chesapeake, Ohio, passed away August 23, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2016, at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, W.Va., by Pastor Sam Vance. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, W.Va. He was born May 14, 1957, in Hamlin, W.Va., a son of the late Gilmor and Lola Chaney Roy. He was a former employee of Steel of West Virginia. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Danny and Roger Roy. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Jamie and Dewayne Yeager of Milton and Terra and Jeremy Chapman of Greensboro, N.C.; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Peggy and Jerry Duty and Nancy Carter; special friend, Bonnie McCauley; and two very special grandchildren whom he adored, Wesley and Evan Yeager. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
