ObituaryLOUISE FERGUSON On March 8, 2016, LOUISE FERGUSON, 94, of Barboursville, W.Va., went to her home eternal while her physical needs were being met at Heritage Center. Born October 11, 1921, in Logan, West Virginia, a daughter of Harvey and Birdie Ferguson, who preceded her in death. She was schooled in Logan County and attended Man High School. She devoted her life to the care of her mother and father with whom she made her home. A brother, Harvey Ferguson Jr., and sister Anna Ruth England, also preceded her in death. Louise was a member of Highlawn Presbyterian Church in Huntington, W.Va., and participated as a member of the Day Circle when her health allowed. Surviving are four nieces and several cousins, including Charles Woolcock and his wife Mertie, under whose care she has been for a number of years. Her joys were listening to music and clapping in time, being in the presence of children and eating cookies. Louise will be missed by all who loved her gentle spirit. The family thanks those at Heritage Center who provided comfort and loving care to Louise. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Saturday, March 12, 2016, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, with the Rev. Richard Mobayed and Dr. Rick Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers please make expressions of remembrance to Highlawn Presbyterian Church, 2013 Collis Avenue, Huntington, WV 25702.
