LILBERT RAY PORTER, 82, of East Lynn, W.Va., passed away Wednesday, March 16, 2016. He was born April 17, 1933, in Lincoln County, a son of the late Frank and Olzie Adkins Porter. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in Germany. He was preceded in death by his first wife Juanita Adkins Porter; one daughter, Dreama Vance; one sister, Rose Sowards; and one step-brother, Robert Adkins. He is survived by his wife Lula Belle Porter; one granddaughter, Aubrey Hudson; one great-granddaughter, Amber Denea Watts; two great-grandsons; two step-sisters, Elfa Adkins and Deloris Gue; step-brothers Ronald Adkins and Daryl Adkins; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Viola and Garrett Smith, Margaret McClure, Wilma Fonda and Calvin and Avenell Perry; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville. Funeral services will conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 19, 2016, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville by Rev. Calvin Perry and Rev. A.J. Perry. Burial will be in Marion Adkins Cemetery, Branchland, W.Va. Pallbearers will be Joe Smith, Jason Smith, Riley Junior Walker, and James Vahovick.
