Obituary

Osle Junior "Junebug" Chapman
(June 20, 1929 - June 4, 2018)

Osle Junior “Junebug” Chapman, 88, of Salt Rock, passed away Monday, June 4, 2018. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 7, 2018 at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by Rev. Kevin Shull. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. He was born June 20, 1929, in Salt Rock, a son of the late Osle and Maude Blesdoe Chapman. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his loving wife of 67 years, Veda Sutphin Chapman. He is survived by his children, Sherry Chapman, Bob and Diane Chapman, and Bill and Debbie Chapman, all of Salt Rock; grandchildren, Chris and Dee Chapman, Suzanne Chapman, Nathan Estep, Tisha Martisko, Jenny Callicoat, Mark Reyburn, Michael Reyburn, Scott Huffman and Steve Huffman; great-grandchildren, Morgan Martin and Michael Chapman; great-great-grandchildren, Olivia Martin, Zendal Tatum, Alexa Billups, and Skylar Estep; and one brother, Raymond Chapman of Salt Rock. Visitation will be from 12 to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
