Obituary

Rocky Lee Wood
(September 13, 1965 - May 19, 2018)

Rocky Lee Wood, 52, of Salt Rock, WV passed away May 19, 2018. He was born Sept. 13, 1965 in Williamson, WV, a son of Norman Woody Wood and Joyce Glendine Barrett. He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, James "Bo" Lowe. Rocky leaves behind his loving and devoted wife, Becky, and his daughter "Squirt" Shyla Grace Wood. In addition to his dear mother Glendine, he is survived by his brother and best friend, Rick Wood of Port Orange, FL, his two mother-in-laws, Carolyn Lowe and Janet Lowe, as well as several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and in-laws. He enjoyed fishing, the LA Rams, and watching sports, but nothing compared to the enjoyment he got from watching his daughter "Squirt" play ball. Rocky was recently saved and will enjoy his heavenly home as he awaits to be reunited with his earthly family and friends. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, May 24th at Wallace Funeral Home in Barboursville with Pastor Gary Wilson and Jerry Jobe. The family will welcome friends one hour prior to service.
