Obituary

Jewell Sullivan
(1923 - November 12, 2018)

Jewell Sullivan, 95, of Barboursville, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 12, 2018 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. Graveside services will be conducted at Swann Cemetery on Friday, November 16, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Pastor James Jobe officiating. Jewell was a member of Roach Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, of 60 years, Richard, son Denny, and daughter Judy and son-in-law Keith Shelton. Survivors include daughters, Marjorie Ann and Anna Poston, daughter-in-law Donna Sullivan, grandchildren, Jonathan (Jeanne) Shelton, Kris Altizer, and Shawn Sullivan, sister Marjorie Blankenship, sister-in-law Dee Johnson, and a host of nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Drs. Frank Rivas and Matthew Harris for their care over the years, and to the staffs of St. Mary’s ER and Intermediate Care Unit for their care and compassion. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements. There will be no visitation.
