Irving W. "Sonny" Houghton
 (September 12, 1928 - July 19, 2010)

Irving W. "Sonny" Houghton, 81, of Huntington, WV, died Monday July 19, 2010 in Huntington Health and Rehabilitation. Funeral service will be conducted 2:00 PM Thursday July 22, 2010 at Chapman's Mortuary Huntington with Pastor Carl Black officiating. Burial will be in Spring Hill Cemetery. Sonny was born September 12, 1928 in Elizabethton, TN a son of the late Stuart C. & Rose Zoellar Houghton. He graduated from Marshall University & Liberty Bible Institute. He retired from the U.S. Air Force & CSX Railroad. Survivors include his wife of 55 years Martha Virginia Kiger Houghton, a sister-in-law Mary Ann Gorby of Proctorville, OH, brother-in-law & sister-in-law William David & Harriet Kiger of Ceredo, WV, several nieces & nephews, special friends, John & Rhonda Wyrick of Huntington & his loving pet Rachel. Friends may call at Chapman's Mortuary from 7:00 until 8:00 PM Wednesday July 21, 2010.
