Virginia "Ginny" Smith

Ms. Virginia “Ginny” Smith, 60, of Ashland, KY, of Huntington, passed away Friday, May 11, 2012 at King’s Daughter’s Medical Center, Ashland, KY. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 am May 15, 2012 at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, with The Rev. Ronald D. Pogue officiating, with burial to follow. She was born January 15, 1952, in Huntington, a daughter of the late Richard E. “Dick” and Clarice McCallister Smith. She graduated from the former Buffalo of Wayne High School attended Marshall University, and graduated from Ashland Community and Technical College. She was a sales representative for the Acosta Corporation, and was a licensed real estate agent. She is survived by 2 sons and a daughter-in-law; Richard Clinger of Ashland, KY and Stephen and January Cisco of Columbia, SC. A sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Stan Holifield of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, a brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Lynn Smith of Kenova, WV; grandchildren, Austin and Braydan Clinger and Hunter Cisco; nephew, Rex Powers of Huntington, and a dear friend.
