Ruth Ann Mills
(February 28, 1942 - April 19, 2015)

Ruth Ann Mills, 73, of Proctorville, OH, widow of Robert Van Nostrand, and Charles R. Mills, died Sunday, April 19, 2015, in Saint Mary’s Medical Center. She was born February 28, 1942, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Murlen and Della Holbrook Null. One sister, Billie Jean Tipton, and one brother, John Null also preceded her in death. She was a US Air Force veteran and a homemaker. Survivors include: one son and his wife, Robert and Felicia Van Nostrand of Proctorville, OH, one daughter and her spouse, Penny Van Nostrand and Elaine Bishop of Cleveland, OH; 5 step-daughters, Kathy and Jeff Mesker, Marilyn Willis, Carol Mills, Virginia and Marty Patrick, Susan and David Bowen; 2 step-sons, Charles and Dawn Mills, David and Natalee Maynard; one brother, Charles Thomas Null;, 23 grandchildren including, Mary Van Nostrand, 30 great-grandchildren. Friends may call at Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington, Thursday April 23, 2015 from 1:00 until 2:00 PM where the funeral procession will leave for a graveside service at 2:30 at Miller Memorial Gardens. Miller, OH with Pastor Scott Duncan officiating. Burial will follow.
