Obituary



Harold J. Logan, 90, from Rochester, NY and resident of Huntington, West Va passed away December 7, 2015 at Hospice House of Huntington. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Lois (Pryor) Logan and his parents, Margaret (Shea) Hyland and Gerald Logan; step dad Thomas Hyland. He will be greatly missed by his children : Brad Logan, Barbara (Logan) Leiwes, Doug Logan and his wife Patty Logan; grandchildren: Christina, Carla, Russell and Caitlin, Great grandchildren: Connor, Caylie, Caden, Harper and Sophia, Sister in law: Dorothy (Pryor) McClure, nieces and nephews: Mark McClure, Dwight McClure, Pam (McClure) Stumbo, Patty Godley, Martha (Rugg) Bowling, Danny Rugg, and Amy Rugg. Harold was a graduate of Mt Union College, served in the US Navy during WWII, and retired from 28 years of teaching in public schools. The family extends sincere thanks and appreciation to Dr Stephen Petrany, his staff and cafeteria at Cabell Huntington Hospital, St Mary's Rehab Center, Walgreens Pharmacy on 4th Avenue, Johnson Memorial Church, Hospice of Huntington and neighbors for all your love, kindness and support. Chapel services will be at the Abbey of Remembrance at Woodmere Memorial Park on Wednesday, Dec 9th at 10:00 a.m.
