Ralph J. Wyant, 96, of Huntington, WV, died Saturday December 19, 2015 at Heritage Center. Funeral service will be conducted 11:30 AM Tuesday December 22, 2015 at Woodmere Memorial Park's Abbey of Remembrance with Pastor Steve Williams officiating. Burial will follow. Ralph was born November 9, 1919 in Putnam County, WV, a son of the late Emma Bell Payne. He was also preceded in death by his stepfather, Collis A. Payne, 1st wife, Ruby Irene Jones Wyant and his 2nd wife, Jewell Frances Wyant and one brother, George A. Wyant. He was retired from the C and O Employees Federal Credit Union, a member of Central Freewill Baptist Church and Western Star Lodge #11 A.F. and A.M. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Ralph David and Laura Fairchild Wyant of Proctorville, OH, a grandson, Jason Wyant of Proctorville, a granddaughter, Lauren Wyant Arrick and husband Josh of Lucasville, OH, three great-grandchildren, Parker and Annabelle Wyant and Bronson Arrick and one sister, Anna Mae Davis of FL. Chapman's Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
