Garland Perry "Pete" Hatfield, Jr.
(October 10, 1947 - January 1, 2015)



Garland Perry “Pete” Hatfield, Jr., 67, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, January 1, 2015, in the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday January 6, 2015 at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Father Dean Borgmeyer officiating. Burial will be in Spring Valley Memory Gardens. Pete was born October 10, 1947 in Huntington a son of Thelma Lee Agee of Huntington and the late Garland Perry Hatfield, Sr. He was a former insurance salesman; a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War; and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. In addition to his mother, survivors include: his wife, Lori Jones Hatfield; a step son, Andrew Taylor of Catlettsburg, KY; a sister and brother-in-law, Sylvia and Charles Rath and family of Chelsea AL; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Doug and Bonita Jones of Catlettsburg. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Friends may call at the church after 10:00 AM Tuesday. Chapman’s Mortuary Huntington is assisting the family.
