Obituary

Howard Trenton Pauley
(June 8, 1928 - January 8, 2015)



Howard Trenton Pauley, 86, of Huntington, WV, passed away Thursday, January 8, 2015, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Saturday, January 10, 2015, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Pastor Kevin Shull officiating. Burial will be in Ridgelawn Memorial Park, Huntington, with military graveside rites conducted by Veterans Honor Guard Post 16. He was born June 8, 1928 in Ceredo, Wayne County, WV a son of the late Otto and Lillie Perdue Pauley. He was a medical technician for the Florida Department of Corrections and was a U.S. Army and U. S. Air Force veteran. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Charlene Midkiff Pauley; two sisters, Glenna Cline and Jennie Robinson, both of Wayne, WV; a brother-in-law, Jack Combs of Wayne; a step daughter, Debbie (Tom) Edwards of Barboursville, WV; two step sons, Dale (Rose) Miller of Salt Rock, WV and Douglas (Noreen) Miller of Barboursville; five grandchildren; and five great grandchildren. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 pm Friday, January 9, 2015, at Chapman's Mortuary.
