Obituary

SYBIL MARIE BRUNI, 77, of Milton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, November 14, 2005, in Charleston Area Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m., Thursday, November 17, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with the Rev. Tracy Mills officiating. Entombment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. She was born June 4, 1928, a daughter of the late Walter and Emma Riggs Russe. She was also preceded in her death by her husband, Doy E. Bruni; five brothers, Roy, Herbert, Mark, George, and Lewis Russe; five sisters, Ruby Breeden, Virginia Motto, Effie Russe, Ella Sawford, and Theresa Foglia. She was retired from Sears. She was a member of Union Baptist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Claudia Ann Bruni Harvey of Milton, Theresa and Dave Cornell of Milton, Valerie and Rick Pekarek of Pensacola, Fla.; two sons, Edward Bruni of Huntington, Alex and Melanie Bruni of Salt Rock; one sister, Helen Henry; eight grandchildren, Melissa Trimble, Leila Covert, Tim Cornell, Ryan Pekarek, Allegra Pekarek, Matthew Pekarek, Jonathan Bruni, and Megan Bruni; two great-grandchildren, Jackson Armstrong and Drusilla Sabatina Dean. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends. Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
