Obituary

JACK ROBINSON CRAFT, 91, of Milton passed away Tuesday, November 15, 2005, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, November 18, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with the Rev. Ron Burnsworth officiating. Burial will follow in Culloden Cemetery. Jack was born September 6, 1914, in Hurricane, W.Va., one of 16 children of Daniel and Flora Belle Janey Craft. He was also preceded in death by his first wife, Martha Craft Brinkman; second wife, Rita Mae Nichols; adopted son, Harold "Buddy" Jones; stepson, Jeffrey Chapman; Jack is survived by adopted daughter, Trudy Jones Sargent of Milton; stepdaughter, Brenda Lucas of Ficher, Il; two stepsons, Russell Nichols of Mead, Wash., and Robert Chapman of Milton; one brother, Robert Craft of Charleston; one sister, Jewel Fleshman and her husband Charles, of Charleston; one sister-in-law, Mary Craft of South Charleston. Jack was the proud patriarch of 18 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
