Obituary

RAMONA ETHEL DOBBINS, 74, of Culloden passed away Sunday, November 13, 2005, at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted noon Thursday, November 17, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Rev. Art Hage officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Ramona was born February 15, 1931, in Slab Fork, W.Va., a daughter of the late Clowney and Mary Akers Meadows. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Dobbins Jr. She was a member of the American Legion, VFW Ladies Auxiliary, National Society United States Daughters of 1812, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution and served in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. She is survived by three sons, George Greene Jr., John Greene and Mark Greene; one daughter, Cynthia Greene; three grandchildren, Jason McGraw, Chris McGraw and Jennifer Greene; three great-grandchildren, Gabrielle Wilkinson, Jacqualyn McGraw and Brianna McGraw; and three siblings, Harry Meadows, Janice Cox and C.Q. Meadows. Friends may call 10 a.m. to noon on Thursday at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
