Jacquelyn F. Call
(October 15, 1938 - July 21, 2011)



Jacquelyn F. Call, 72, of Barboursville, beloved mother and grandmother, died Thursday, July 21, 2011 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Steele Memorial United Methodist Church, of which she was a member, with Rev. Dr. John Sauvage and Rev. Ralph Sager officiating. Burial will follow at White Chapel Memorial Gardens. She was born October 15, 1938, in Beckley, W.Va., a daughter of the late Leland B. and Alberta Peck Goss. She was preceded in death by one sister, Janith Floyd. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School of Nursing. She served this community as a nurse for fifty years, first with Dr. William S. Sadler and later with Dr. Bradley Richardson. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Michael D. And Lynette Call; her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and Jim Cava. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Alex (Mary) Cava, Jimmy (Stefanie) Cava, Kristin and Kati Jo Call and Kara (Paul) Insalaco; two sisters, JoeAnn (Ray) Allen of Dallas, TX and Zita (Maurice) Bessman of Baltimore, MD; a special friend, Linda Lehmann and the Call family who she loved dearly, as well as a host of nieces and nephews. Friends may visit from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville and one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Steele Memorial United Methodist Church Building Fund P.O. Box 346; Barboursville, WV 25504 in her memory.
