Obituary

GARY WARREN ADKINS
(November 16, 1939 - June 17, 2014)

GARY WARREN ADKINS, 74, of Gray Court, S.C., formerly of Salt Rock, W.Va., passed away Tuesday, June 17, 2014. Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2014, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, Barboursville, by the Rev. David Cardwell. Burial will be in Baylous Cemetery. He was born November 16, 1939, in Salt Rock, a son of the late Dewey and Edith Leola Nicely Adkins. He was a veteran of the US Army. He is survived by his wife Elizabeth Jane Fields Adkins; children Tina L. Owens, Kristie D. Adkins, Gary Joe Adkins and Carrie A. Adkins; one stepson, Eddie Blankenship; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville.
