Ronald Allen Jeffrey
(April 25, 1944 - July 7, 2015)

RONALD ALLEN JEFFREY, 71, of Barboursville, W.Va., passed away from this life, and into the loving arms of Jesus, on Tuesday, July 7, 2015. He was born April 25, 1944, the only child of the late Joan Adkins Jeffrey, and the late Vivian "Viv" Jeffrey. He was a member of the Dillon Chapel United Methodist Church, Shriners International, a member of the Minerva Lodge # 13 A.F..&.A.M. Barboursville, and an Eagle Scout. He retired from Owens-Illinois, and was then employed by BFI. He influenced many people with his infectious personality, genuine sense of humor and bigger-than-life smile and attitude. His presence will be greatly missed by many but especially his family. His passion for life he found in his grandchildren. Ron leaves behind his bride of 51 years, Patricia Gilpin Jeffrey. He is also survived by his three children, a daughter Kelly Jeffrey, a daughter and "favorite" son-in-law, Angela and Steve Osburn, and a son Craig Jeffrey; five grandchildren, Shawn Jeffrey, Seth Jeffrey, Brookelynn Osburn, Logan Osburn and Ethan Jeffrey; and four great-grandchildren, Macyn, Karson, Jayce and Paxton. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015, at Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, with a funeral service following at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Dillon Chapel United Methodist Church.
