KATHLEEN MAY
(August 11, 1927 - November 11-2016)

KATHLEEN MAY, age 89, of Barboursville, left from her home in Barboursville to go be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, November 11, 2016. Kathleen was born August 11, 1927, in Nolan, W.Va., to Benjamin Harrison Honaker and Sarah Simpkins Honaker. Kathleen was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard May; a son, Ted Howard; and her daughter, Susan Diane Hawkins. She is now able to rest and be with her loved ones that have gone on before. Kathleen temporarily leaves behind four sons, Charles Beckett (Heloise) of Greenville, N.C., Leonard May Jr. (Judy) of Red House, W.Va., David May (Eileen) of Amherstdale, W.Va., Chris May (Nicki) of Barboursville; and one daughter, Barbara Elkins of Barboursville. Kathleen also had many grandchildren and great-grandchildren that were close to her heart. Kathleen was a special lady who touched many lives. She taught her children to serve the Lord and to always help others without regard. Earth's loss is truly Heaven's gain. Services will be conducted at noon Tuesday, November 15, 2016, at the Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel with Rev. Robert Hawkins and Rev. John Hawkins officiating. Burial will be in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Huntington, P.O. Box 464, Huntington, WV 25709.
