David Lester Hensley
(October 13, 1946 - May 26, 2017)



DAVID LESTER HENSLEY, 70, of Barboursville, went home to be with his Lord and Savior May 26, 2017. David was born October 13, 1946, in Barboursville, son of the late Romey A. Hensley and Norma Holley Hensley. He served in the United States Army and retired from Steel of WV. He was a member of Olive Missionary Baptist Church. David is survived by his wife, Kathryn Bartram Hensley; five daughters, Kristy (Joe) Saunders, Amy (George) Reitmire, Geneva (Greg) Flora, Tara (Michael) Ferrell, Billie (Jason) Stevens; six grandchildren, Britney (Trace) Anderson, Kolten Saunders, Bethany Ferrell, Michael S. Ferrell, Mickenzie Ferrell, Bradley Reitmire; one great-granddaughter, Raelynn Vanmeter; brother, Charles Hensley; sisters, Gayle Sites, Sharon (Gary) Nelson, Edith Harquis, Debbie (Steve) Cornett. There will be no funeral services. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, is in charge of arrangements.
