Sarah Kelly White
(April 15, 1980 ~ September 18, 2017)



Sarah Kelly White, 37, of Huntington, gained her angel wings on September 18, 2017 at the Hospice of Huntington. Born on April 15, 1980 in Huntington, she was the daughter of Randy and Carole Holbrook of Huntington. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Carl and Carlene Holbrook; maternal grandfather, Raymond Gibson, and step mother-in-law, Nancy White. Sarah is survived by her husband of 10 years, Nester White of Huntington; their children, Raegan Alexandra and Benjamin Logan White; father-in-law, Robert White of Chesapeake, OH; mother-in-law, Karen Logan of Huntington; brother, Alex (Amber); niece and nephew, Abigail and Lachlan Holbrook of Williamsport, PA; maternal grandmother, Patricia Fields of Huntington; uncle and aunt, Tommy (Pam) Holbrook of Lexington, KY; cousin, Heather (Ronnie) Lainhart of Cape Coral, FL; brother-in-law, Robert (Samantha); nephew, Brody White; sister-in-law, Robyn (Jeff); niece and nephew, Vera and Parker Munson, all of Huntington; sister-in-law, Shelli (Jeremiah); niece and nephew, Madison and Alex Walker of Fort Leonard Wood, MO, and numerous relatives and friends. Sarah was a special education teacher at Highlawn Elementary where she had a great love for her students and co-workers.  She loved her family deeply, was a disciple of Christ and was always determined to accomplish whatever she set her mind to, with a caring heart.  While on chemo, she danced in the Tri-State Dancing with the Stars and also received the title of Mrs. WV USA All-Star 2016.  Family and friends are welcome to a visitation at 4:00 P.M. on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Crossroads United Methodist Church, where she was an active member.  Following the visitation, a memorial service will be held at 5:30 P.M. to celebrate Sarah’s life.  Pastors John Ward, Bill DeMoss and James Asbury will facilitate the service.
