Shirley Jean Jenkins

Shirley Jean Jenkins, 66, of Glenwood, WV, passed away Thursday June 24, 2010. Graveside services will be conducted 2:30 pm Tuesday June 29, 2010, at Fairfield Cemetery, Glenwood, with Pastor Ron Long officiating. She was born August 4, 1943, in Cabell County, a daughter of the late John Henry and Mary Virginia Booth Brumfield. One sister Rosella Brumfield and one brother John Brumfield also preceded her in death. She was a homemaker and attended Fairfield United Methodist Church. Survivors include: one daughter, Angela Townson of Glenwood; two sons and daughters-in-law, Bart and Tonya Jenkins of Glenwood, and Mark and Jennifer Jenkins of Milton; two sisters, Lillie Ward of Glenwood and Sarah Earls of Lesage; one brother, Robert "Bob" Brumfield of Glenwood; 7 grandchildren, Tyler, Emma, Zach, Brooke, Brittany, Billy and Danielle; two great-grandchildren, Lyllian and Jackson. Friends may call from noon to 1:45 pm Tuesday at Chapman's Mortuary, with the procession leaving the funeral home at 1:50 pm to go to the cemetery.
