Timothy Earl Porter

Timothy Earl Porter, 52, of Lesage, WV, husband of 34years to Wanda S. Porter, died at home at his farm Sunday June 27, 2010. He was born December 29, 1957 in Huntington, WV a son of the late Bernie Earl Porter and Wanda Jean Marshall Porter of Wayne, WV. He was a foreman at Becker SMC, having worked there for the past 31 years. Tim also was an avid outdoorsman, loved fishing, gardening, feeding his cattle, and cherished his two grandchildren. In addition to his wife and mother, he leaves behind his two daughters, Misty Dawn Clary and husband Rick Clary, Jr., of West Hamlin, and Christy Michelle Hooser and husband Rick Hooser, Jr., of Barboursville; his two grandchildren, McKenzie Paige Clary and Timothy Allen Eugene Hooser; neighbors and friends especially all his special friends at Becker SMC. Funeral services will be conducted 12:30 PM Wednesday at Chapman's Mortuary with Rev. Ray Williamson officiating. Burial will be in Greenbottom Memorial Park. His farm is where he loved to be as his family said "his farm was his life".  Friends may call after 11:30 AM until service time Wednesday at Chapman's Mortuary.
