Earlia Ernestine "Tiny" Nance, 56, of Proctorville, Ohio, died peacefully November 6, 2016 at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. She was born June 15, 1960 to the late Charlotte and Ernest "Hump" Nance of Huntington, WV. She attended Cabell County Trainable Center from 1967 to 1976. She attended Green acres Regional Center (Lesage, WV) from 1976 to 2004, where she worked for LeSage Water Company. She was active in the Cabell County Special Olympics during her early years at Green Acres. She attended Tri State Industries from 2004 to 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charlotte Marie Ash Nance and Ernest Arthur "Hump" Nance; a sister, Gloria Yvonne Setliff; a brother, Phillip Allen Nance; and a great niece, Allyson Marie Christian, all of Huntington, WV. She is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Daphne "Sue" and Ron Meehling of Proctorville, OH; former brother-in-law, David Christian of Proctorville, OH; four nephews, Randy Christian of Huntington, WV, Ron and Carrie Meehling of Huntington, WV, David Christian of Clearwater, FL, and Phillip Nance II of Huntington, WV; and two great nieces, Alexis Marie Christian of Lenoir, NC and Emma Lee Meehling of Huntington, WV. Whether you knew her as Earlia, Ernestine, or Tiny, one thing is for sure- she remembered you! She was a very kind soul with a smile that could light up a room. Her quick wit and humor were her trademarks and will be missed by everyone that knew her. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 pm Thursday, November 10, 2016, at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington, with Bishop Edwin S. Harper officiating. Burial will be in Union Ridge Cemetery. Visitation will be from noon until 2:00 pm Thursday at Chapman's Mortuary.
