Tina Lynn Shafer

Tina Lynn Shafer


Tina Lynn Shafer, 49, of South Point, OH, wife of David Shafer, died Monday, February 21, 2022 at her residence. She was born January 31, 1973 in Charleston, WV a daughter of Arthur R. Casto, Sr. and Hazel D. Jordan Casto of Culloden, WV. Tina was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Oma and Oshial Casto; maternal grandparents, Frank and Madeline Jordan; her father-in-law, Johnny Shafer; and a brother-in-law, Josh Shafer. She was a homemaker. In addition to her husband and parents, survivors include a daughter and son-in-law, Brittany Casto-Skaggs and Chad Skaggs; a son. Joey Casto; grandson, Hunter Skaggs; a brother, Bud Casto and his wife, Rhonda Casto; mother-in-law, Monica Stephenson and her husband, Paul Stephenson; her sister-in-law and Josh Shafer's widow, Jessica Shafer; and a slew of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 pm Monday, February 28, 2022 at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Jeff Maynard officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Garden of Memories, Sissonville, WV. Donations are encouraged to be sent to an animal shelter close to you in her name. Friends may visit one hour prior to services Monday at Chapman's Mortuary.
