Jessie Ruth Gardner
(September 19, 1949 - October 7, 2022)

Jessie Ruth Gardner, 73, of Itmann, WV, passed away Friday, October 7, 2022, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Jessie was born September 19, 1949 in Pineville, WV a daughter of the late Robert and Billie (Workman) Hannan. She was a wife, a mother, grandmother, and friend. She was proud of her family, and there was nothing more special to her than them. In addition to her parents, Jessie was preceded in death by her brother Bobby Hannan, nephew Charles Hannan, father in law Robert Gardner, mother in law Gladys Gardner, brother in law Butch Eldridge as well as her son in law Chuck Stacy.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 47 years, Richard Gardner; daughters, Jennifer Mullens and her fiancé Ronnie, Lisa (Alan) Preston. Grandchildren Cj, Devyn, Olivia, Jordyn and Brayden. Stepdaughter Tammy (Andy) Elmore. Brothers in law Mike (Brenda) Gardner, and James Gardner. Sisters in law Janie Price, Lucille Eldridge and Linda (Ron) Shortt. Former sons in law Stephen Mullens and Matthew Meadows, along with a host of loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews. A loving wife, precious mother and proud grandmother, she will be dearly missed and forever remembered. There will be a memorial service 2:00 pm Saturday, October 15, 2022, at Jessie's home, 10671 River Road, Itmann, WV 24847.
