Obituary

William Joseph Mackey
(January 23, 1950 - October 27, 2022)

William Joseph Mackey, 72, of Huntington, died Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. He was born January 23, 1950 a son of Dr. Charles Knapp Mackey and Hilda Rider Mackey. William was a U.S. Navy Veteran, and was retired from Marshall University. Survivors include his brother, Charles Wiley Fontaine Mackey and his wife, Leona Mackey of Huntington. Chapman's Mortuary is assisting with cremation and no services are planed at this time.
