Donald Ray Misner

Donald Ray Misner


Donald Ray Misner, 65, of Huntington, fiancée of Freda A. Burton, died Sunday, October 9, 2022, at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born June 3, 1957 in Huntington a son of the late John Edward and Belva Jean Saunders Misner. Additional family that have preceded him in death are a granddaughter, Tina Lowe McCormick; and two brothers, Joe Allen Misner and David Misner. Donald was a U.S. Army Veteran. He worked last for Huntington Housing Authority, and before that as a cook at the Raddison Hotel and the former Chi Chi's. He attended Fifth Avenue Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his fiancée, Freda, survivors include two daughters, Jennifer Adkins and Heather Lowe, both of Huntington; a son, Patrick Ray Misner of Huntington; four grandchildren, Tedo Cremeans, Austin Lowe, Chloe Lowe, and Wyatt Lowe, all of Huntington; two sisters, Eva Bernice Misner and Trina Garten, both of Huntington; a brother, Robert Saunders of Huntington; his ex-wife, Linda Hodge of Huntington; and a very close friend, Deborah Earl. A celebration of life visitation will be 2:00-4:00 PM Thursday, October 13, 2022 at Chapman's Mortuary, Huntington.
