Lonnie Jackson Vannatter

Lonnie Jackson Vannatter, 63, of Huntington, died Tuesday, October 25, 2022 at his residence. He was born October 30, 1958 in Julian, Boone County, WV., a son of the late George Washington Vannatter and Virgie Lou Turner Long. Additional family that has preceded him in death were two sisters, Peggy Ann Adkins and Brenda Adams; and a brother, Wetzel Vannatter. He became disabled while serving in the U.S. Army. Survivors include two sons, L.J. Vannatter of Huntington, and Jarod Vannatter and special friend, Ashley Neal of Barboursville; two grandchildren, Emily Vannatter and Timothy Vannatter; three sisters, Arzella Combs with whom he lived with in Huntington, Helen Kincaid of Cleveland, OH, and Janet Angel of Alcol, WV; and two brothers, Dean Vannatter and Web Vannatter, both of Boone, WV. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 PM Monday, October 31, 2022 at Chapman's Mortuary with Pastor Jerry Matt officiating. Friends may visit after 1:00 Monday at the funeral home.
