James Franklin “Jim” Bell, 78, of Ona, passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 in St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. He was born October 16, 1937 in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late Donelle and Pansie Bird Bell. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sandra Lynn “Sandy” Bell; two brothers, Billy Bell and Jerry Bell and one sister, Mildred Johnson. Jim is survived by two sons, William S. “Bill” Bell of Palm Bay, FL and Shane Bell of Cleveland, OH; two granddaughters, Ashley Stefancin and her husband, Matthew of Cleveland, OH and Terri Bell of Seattle, WA; and one great grandson, Kenny Stefancin. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, August 19 at the funeral home. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville, WV.
