Hollie C. Bailey, 83, of Milton passed away Monday, May 2, 2016 at his home. He was born November 11, 1932 in Minnora, WV, a son of the late Okey and Mae Badgett Bailey. He was also preceded in death by his son, Larry “Beetle” Bailey and a brother, Basil Bailey. Hollie was a proud member of the Operating Engineers Local 132. He also enjoyed coon and rabbit hunting and trading. He spent many weekends at the Flea Market in Hurricane. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 ˝ years, Nina Deweese Bailey; four daughters and sons-in-law, Rhonda and Austin Vance of Milton, Debbie and Charles Lemon of Hurricane, Sandy Bailey and John Cabell of Milton and Shari and Bill Smith of Hurricane; six grandchildren, Brad Vance, Jamie Sunderland, Melissa Morrison, Travis Bailey, Jason Shirkey and Brandi Bailey; two step grandchildren, Bethany Tolliver and Gena Stonestreet; one brother, Delmar Bailey of Minnora, WV; one sister, Myrl Bailey of Tariff, WV; and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, May 6, 2016 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Don Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton. Visitation will be from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Hollie was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather, who lit up whenever his grandchildren were around.
