Obituary
Harry O. Kirtley, 83, of Milton went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at his home. He was born October 28, 1932 in Cabell County, WV, a son of the late William and Florence Keenan Kirtley. He was also preceded in death by his late wife, Earnestine Kirtley; stepson, Tommy Kisor; one sister and five brothers. Mr. Kirtley was retired from AC&F Industries and was a Gospel singer for many years. He was a member of Zoar Baptist Church, Milton and has been a Christian since 1948, the year he was baptized. He is survived by his wife, Hazel Tyler-Kirtley; one daughter, Bonnie Smith of Palm Bay, FL; two sons, Steven Kirtley of Richmond, IN and Dwight Kirtley and his wife, Christine of Milton; two sisters, Havannah Bragg and Glenna Harbour, both of Milton; seven stepchildren, George (Alice) Kisor, Susie Sammons, Rosie Cremeans, Randy (Tammi) Kisor, Teresa (Rick) Meadows, Randy (Terri) Tyler and Wanda (Richard) Ruby; nine grandchildren, Melissa (Trevin), Penny, Dwain, Amber (Michael), Paige, Aerial (Steve), Aaron (Sarah), Kristofer (Morgan) and Justin (Michelle) and several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with the Rev. Barry Cremeans and Pastor Chris Venoy officiating. Entombment will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, Barboursville. Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, May 16th at the funeral home.
