Mildred A. “Millie” Hatfield Hughes, 89, of Culloden, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2016 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington. She was born April 26, 1927 in Lincoln County, a daughter of the late Bill and Minnie Chandler. She was also preceded in death by two sons, Larry Hatfield and Mark Hatfield; two sisters, and five brothers. Millie is survived by her husband, William W. “Bill” Hughes; two sons, Roger Hatfield of Barboursville and Ronnie Hatfield and his wife, Dee of Milton; five grandchildren and their spouses, Scott L. and Aundria Hatfield, Roger D. and Jillian Hatfield, Christina Terry, Glendoria and Phillip Armentrout and Drew and Faith Hatfield; one sister, Thelma Richardson of Culloden; 15 great grandchildren, Andrew Barton, Tyler Hatfield, Tanner Hatfield, Ariana Carter, Chloe Hatfield, Cassidy Hatfield, Sierra Hatfield, Scottie Hatfield, Destiny Hatfield, Kaitlyn Terry, Kiersten Terry, Elijah Terry, Chloe Armentrout, Aleah Armentrout and Phillip Armentrout; two great-great grandchildren, Josiah and Isaiah; and special friend, “Buddy Boy”, her dog. Funeral service will be conducted at 12 noon Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Pastor Rick Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Milton Cemetery. Friends may call two hours prior to the service Wednesday at the funeral home beginning at 10 a.m.
