Obituary

ELEVENA CHAPMAN, 79, of Milton went home to be with her Lord after a long illness with cancer on Thursday, December 30, 2004, at her residence. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Rev. Ray Sovine and Rev. Joe Dolen officiating. Burial will follow in Staton Chapel Cemetery, Milton. Elevena was born May 25, 1925, a daughter of the late Leland Stanford and Mabel Smith Meadows. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Harvey Chapman; six brothers and four sisters. She is survived by three daughters, Linda Reynolds, Lorine Shull and Serena Hibner; six sons, Charles Chapman, Larry Chapman, Keith Chapman, Otho Chapman, Darrell Chapman and Ronnie Chapman; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would also like to thank Hospice of Point Pleasant and Dr. Oakley, Dr. Carrico and Dr. Revell; and all the friends and family who have lent their support. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday, January 1, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
