Obituary

CHARLES DAVID HIX, 59, of Milton passed away Sunday, December 26, 2004, at his residence. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, December 30, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Fred Kitchen officiating. Burial will follow in White Chapel Memorial Gardens, David was born February 13, 1945, a son of the late Roy and Llyda Hix. He is also preceded in death by one stepson, Barry Hatfield. He was a truck driver for Nelson Brothers Inc., for more than 45 years. He was also a member of Apostolic Church of Barboursville. David is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Hix; one daughter, Misty Baily of Clearwater, Fla.; one son, Gregory Hatfield of West Palm Beach, Fla.; stepchildren, Clyde Hatfield Jr. of Hurricane, Katy Burden of Ona; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and one special grandson, Barry "Buddy" Hatfield Jr. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 29, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
