Obituary

WILLIAM B. "BILL" MOUNT, 89, of Salt Rock, passed away Monday, December 6, 2004, in Mariner Healthcare of Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, December 9, 2004, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with the Rev. Donnie Spurlock officiating. Burial will follow in Union Ridge Cemetery. He was born March 10, 1915, in Cabell County, West Virginia, a son of the late James P. and Ida May Paxton Mount. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Clary Mount; daughter, Janice Smith; four brothers and one sister. He is survived by his daughter, Jo-Ann Merritt of Salt Rock; four grandchildren, Monica, Brian, Dorothy and Charlie; four great-grandchildren, Devon, Destiny, Sarah and Little Charlie; two brothers, James L. Mount and Raymond R. Mount, both of Glenwood; and two sisters, Oweva Mae Clary of Glenwood and Genevive Spurlock of Scottown, Ohio.
