ObituaryERNIE E. MAYS, 55 of Huntington passed away Friday, December 31, 2004, in St. Mary's Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2005, at Heck Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Gary Hayes and Pastor Troy Nicely officiating. Burial will follow in Balls Gap Cemetery. Ernie was born December 15, 1949, a son of the late Ira Trenton Mays and Clarcia Jackson Mays of Huntington. He is also preceded in death by two sisters, Janice Mays and Myrtle Mays. He is survived by two brothers, Eugene Mays and twin brother, Bernie Mays; four sisters, Betty Tanner, Eva Wilkinson, Bertha Bailey and Brenda Jackson; and several nieces and nephews. Ernie served his country for 20 years in the United States Army. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, January 3, 2005, and one hour prior to service at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
