Obituary

Lovie Ora Persinger, 75, of Milton passed away Monday, December 6, 2004 in Putnam General Hospital, Hurricane.  Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 9, 2004.  Burial will follow in Culloden Cemetery.  She was born June 1, 1929, in Cabell County, WV, a daughter of the late Walter Morris and Lenia Mamie Morrison Chapman.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Carl Lester Persinger; two sister, Alice Osborne and Catherine Hatfield; and one brother, Gilbert Chapman.  She was a member of Good Hope Baptist Church.  She is survived by three sons, Lester Persinger, Floyd Persinger and John Persinger, all of Milton; one sister, Cassie Allen of Hurricane; two brothers, Floyd Chapman and Delmer Chapman.  Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2004 at Heck Funeral Home.
