C. Windsor, 81, of
Milton passed away Sunday, January 28, 2007
in St. Mary’s
Medical
Center.
Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 11 AM, Wednesday, January
31, 2007 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton with Msgr. Lawrence Luciana
officiating. Burial will follow in
Forest
Memorial Park,
Milton. She
was born October 22, 1925, a daughter of the late Albert R. and Lettie
Harbour Conner. She was also preceded in death by her
husband, Charles B. Windsor, Jr.; four brothers and two sisters.
She was a retired loan office with
20th Street
Bank. She was on the Board of Directors of the bank and
was the first woman officer to be appointed. She was an
active member and treasurer for the VFW Post 9796, Ladies Auxilary.
She attended St. Joseph Catholic Church, Huntington and St. Stephen’s
Catholic Church, Ona. She is survived by her sister,
Janet and Bernard Nicholas of Milton; two brothers, Billy and Louis Mae
Conner of Milton and Charles and Mutell Conner of Pembroke Pines, FL;
special nieces, Lorena Morrison and her husband, Emmett of Barboursville and
Rosemary Ewen of Versailles, KY; a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and
neighbors; special friend, Gladys Jordan; caregiver, Sandra Bryan.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, at Heck Funeral Home.
