Obituary

Brenda McGraw Dougherty, 51, of Davenport, FL, went to be with the Lord on Monday, August 4, 2008 at Winter Haven Hospital, Winter Haven, FL from complications of multiple sclerosis that she suffered with for 22 years.  Funeral service will be conducted 4:00 PM, Sunday, August 10, 2008 at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.  Burial will follow in Bias Chapel Cemetery, Milton.  She was born May 7, 1957 in Toledo, Ohio a daughter of the late Holland McGraw and Clodene McGraw Carter.  Brenda was a graduate from the University of Toledo with a degree in special education and taught in Ohio and Polk County Schools.  She was a member of Ridge Assembly of God.  In addition to her mother, Clodene she is also survived by her son, Brandon Lee Dougherty; three brothers, Brent McGraw of Perrysburg, OH, Reggie McGraw of Toledo, OH, LeRoy McGraw of Oakley, CA.  Visitation will be Saturday from 6 to 8 PM at Heck Funeral Home, Milton.
